Why do we seek each other\u2019s approval? Do we want it? Or do we need it? I have become wise to the notion that approval isn\u2019t always necessary. We can do everything possible to get others to approve; sometimes, it just doesn\u2019t happen. Approval is about changing who you are to get someone to like you. And you shouldn\u2019t have to do that. Be yourself. Then go from there. If you get approval, that\u2019s wonderful.
