This expression was recently said to me. The day\u2019s cards<br \/>\nare loosely related to fate. Sometimes the day\u2019s cards hold for us something spectacular, like<br \/>\nwinning something we hadn\u2019t expected. But sometimes the day\u2019s cards give us a flat tire, or bad<br \/>\nnews about a family member. We cannot predict the day\u2019s cards. We cannot change the cards.<br \/>\nBut we shouldn\u2019t fear them, either, for if we fear the day\u2019s cards the best of us will be gone<br \/>\nforever. Don\u2019t let the day\u2019s cards, the unpredictability of life, get in the way of happiness.
