I got to thinking about fathers, just in the spirit of Father\u2019s Day. There are those fathers who work too much; there are those fathers who neglect their daughters, leaving them to become promiscuous or violent or depressed; there are those fathers who hold their daughter\u2019s hand in times of crisis\u2026 the kind of father who would do anything for his little girl. Fortunately, my father was type number three. I\u2019ve come to realize how lucky I am. Not every girl has a father so devoted, so caring, so kind. Even girls I grew up with, whether they were my friends or not, didn\u2019t have as loving fathers as I have. So, in the spirit of Father\u2019s Day, I give a shout out to my father, and all the fathers like him. These are the fathers who should be emulated and celebrated.
