Leaving home for college, a job, or merely a change of scenery. I\u2019ve never dealt with leaving home like an adult should. I cry, thinking that the world is over. But in fact, it\u2019s not. I leave home for several reasons: I don\u2019t like my hometown, the weather, the vibe. My college isn\u2019t near home, either. And I don\u2019t plan on coming back to my hometown after I graduate. I wish I could or would. But I\u2019ve discovered that happiness begins in a place where you\u2019re settled, where you\u2019re happy. And there\u2019s absolutely nothing wrong with that. I\u2019m spreading my wings. I will face leaving home with confidence, poise, and happiness. It\u2019s really just about adjustment, anyway. Once you\u2019re adjusted, any place can be home.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
